So you decided to try answering. Good. Or you are curious enough to continue. Good as well.

« Why, the migrant problem? »

« What transforms the fact that humans need to change country in order to survive into a problem? »

« Where comes the fact that poor people entering a more fortunate country cause a problem? »

      It is the System itself

Firstly, by its bureaucratic heaviness at all levels: federal, provincial, municipal. Then there are the slowdowns caused by standards, laws and conventions: CNESST, OCQ, RBQ, APCHQ, etc. Finally, there is the cost of living, and all the luxuries it offers us that we take for granted.

Because all industrialized countries need more unskilled labor. One problem is the slowness with which the System allows the construction and renovation of buildings. It is a brake on the expansion of infrastructure. Also, because our customs and laws force us to grant our level of luxury and services to foreigners who do not even ask for that much.

« Understanding the Question is in itself ALMOST the Answer... »

What can we do if it is the System itself that is malfunctioning? We cannot replace it, or even substantially modify it because we are totally dependent on it. But it is so heavy and so slow that it puts our very society in jeopardy.

   And therefore suggests the Solution.

To make it bud, like a creature feeling its end approaching. We must force our moribund System to give birth to a Sub-System which will support in its economic recovery. Its flexibility would also allow it to resolve currently insurmountable problems in its place

The creation of a new class of people is not possible with the laws in force. But since our inability to cope with the influx of migrants will inevitably lead us towards a « State of Crisis », a solution is emerging. It is entirely possible to achieve a win-win coexistence.

(Added following the American elections.) We must reduce our dependence on the United States for both purchases and sales. All the more reasons to deal with the issue of migrants in order to make them productive on our territory.

I invite you to come see and read what has been imagined and debated so far, aimed at defining this new framework which would lead to a balance between the needs of migrants and the capacity of host countries to absorb their numbers. We need something other than the now unacceptable status quo.

I remain, respectfully yours
